Printing at Free Geek is handled by CUPS directed to physical printers. Printers are either network attached with a central server acting as a catalog or they are directly attached to terminal machines with CUPS auto discovery sharing them out.
|Location||Under the phone desk|
|Notes||Large images tend to not work, and some complex documents. For complex documents first printing/converting to a post script file then printing the post script tends to work. The network settings don't handle subnetting correctly so only hosts on it's local network can talk directly.|
|Location||Cave against north wall|
|Connection||USB to North terminal|
|URL||varies (should auto detect)|
|Notes||The machine on the north desk needs to be on for this printer to be usable.|
