Talk:Board of directors
I would like to remove the following from the director agreement: No quotas have been set; no rigid standards of measurement and achievement have been formed.
The statement is not clear in its intent. Are we to never set quotas? what does "rigid standard" mean? Aren't all standards rigid? Every time we review our financials we are looking at a measurement. Our budget is a statement of intent for financial achievements. Almost any kind of useful assessment is prevented. Our anti-harassment guidelines are fairly rigid standards for good reason.
Maybe the intent is to avoid some of the bad side effects of over focusing on quotas, and performance. If so the statement should address that without removing useful tools.
The current statement seems to imply no responsibility.
