What constitutes stealing or violent behavior?

Stealing- taking of another person's property without that person's freely-given consent. This applies to individuals at Free geek as well as to Free Geek as an organization.

Violent behavior- is the expression of physical or mental force against another. Free Geek considers mental violent (i.e. emotional abuse) equal to physical abuse in terms of severity of discipline.

What happens when this behavior has been identified?

When there is proof beyond reasonable doubt that a person has exhibited this behavior they will be banned from Free Geek permanently. This includes the store, warehouse and our meetings. They are welcome to appeal this decision to the staff or board of directors.

Every case is treated on an individual basis. Reasonable doubt is determined using consensus decision making at staff meetings, usually on Fridays. The minutes of all meetings can be seen posted on the wiki.
