Listing an item
Pull all information. Model numbers, revision numbers, RAM, HD, etc. Note all conditions(cracks, stains, wear and tear).
Take appropriate photos.
All items should be packaged for shipping prior to listing, without taping shut. The item can then be weighed and measured for accurate listing purposes.
Put item in Ebay box so it is not mixed up with other items.
Tax information
BC PST
Is only collected for sales that have a BC destination.
FEDERAL GST
No tax is collected for sales with destinations out side of Canada.
Record Keeping
Proof must be kept on record that the item was shipped outside of Canada or BC for audit purposes. A waybill(ie Canada Post receipt) is good enough. These records must be kept for 7 years.
Packaging
Any parcels going to the United States must be box in a plain box, with no previous logos(ie a ViewSonic LCD box) or information. You may need to use parcel wrap to make the box plain again.
Parcels going to destinations other than the US can be in any type of box, regardless of logos.
